PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Florida family’s road trip to Georgia took a bizarre turn when the rental car they picked up in Port St. Lucie turned out to be illegal to drive — a story that has now gone viral on TikTok with nearly a million views.
Josh Ball, who posted the video, was traveling with his mother, aunt, and fiancée to attend his cousin’s military boot camp graduation. Not long after crossing the Florida line, they were pulled over near Tifton, Georgia.
“We just got pulled over in Georgia,” Ball says in the video. “The car that we’re driving has no insurance. It is a rental car that we got from Port St. Lucie, Florida, and he said that the tag reads back to a completely different car.”…
