STOCKTON, Calif. — A Stockton Unified School District board member was sentenced Monday to community service for her felony conviction of filing a false insurance claim deputies said was unrelated to the district.
Angelann Flores was sentenced in San Joaquin County Superior Court to two years of informal probation and 120 hours of community service that she has to complete within the year for her July 10 conviction. If she doesn’t complete the service, she may face up to 45 days in county jail.
