Penguin statue stolen from hotel-museum in St. Louis recovered in southeast Mo.

MADISON COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) – Madison County dispatch received an interesting call Monday morning.

Sheriff Nic Adams said on September 22, a caller reported that a 4-foot-tall orange penguin statue had been taken from a hotel-museum in St. Louis.

The penguin had a GPS tracker installed, which led Sheriff Adams to its location in Madison County. The statue was safely recovered, and the suspects were identified…
