SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Emergency crews in Ozark responded to a 911 call after a runner got bitten by a copperhead on Friday.
It happened near the Ozark Career Center. Turns out, that runner was former KY3 anchor & reporter Sara Forhetz, and she recalls that encounter very well.
“I was on a paved trail and there was a copperhead coming from the grass onto the pavement,” Forhetz said. “And, I did not see him moving in the grass because I was just looking at the pavement.”…
