LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Officer Nayeli Valdez Ramos with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is determined to be the best she can be out in the community.
At just 21 years old, she worked her way up to becoming an officer. She dreams of joining the K-9 unit, but she’s currently in a required five-week program for field training.

“It’s very motivating seeing how field training officers work,” she said.
