PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An axiom for investigators is to “follow the money.” In the case of a Gresham lounge robbery, a “trail of cash” led police to two people believed to be responsible.
The armed robbery brought officers to the Rockwood Lounge near 2400 SE 182nd Avenue just before midnight Sunday night, police said. When officers spotted the suspects in a car on Division Street, they tried to pull the car over near Norman Avenue. But two people jumped out of the car and ran while the driver took off.

Dante Jumpingbull was quickly caught, police said, while Zackary Landreth ran into the neighborhood. A Portland police K9, brought in to help find Landreth, literally followed the money. When Landreth was arrested, police said, he had “large amounts of cash in his pockets.”
Jumpingbull, 35, and the 31-year-old Landreth each face two felony charges for robbery.
A third man, William Hicks, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. Authorities said Hicks was not involved in the robbery…
