ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — A Northern Virginia man who’s spent hours in the sky as an Air Force pilot is among NASA’s 10 astronaut candidates for 2025, the agency announced on Monday.
Heritage High School graduate Adam Fuhrmann was selected from more than 8,000 applicants nationwide to join the space agency’s 24th astronaut class, according to a statement.
