Developer of proposed Cheatham County resort addressing community concerns, questions in meeting

KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. (WKRN) — A major development in Cheatham County would change a lot for small town Kingston Springs.

There’s still a lot that needs to happen before the plans are official, but the idea is to build a resort inspired by Blackberry Farm in East Tennessee. It would have cottages, a restaurant, a spa, and recreational additions like archery and horseback riding.

Developer Michael Hayes, CEO of C.B. Ragland, said the property as a whole would be 560 acres, but there would be buildings on a smaller portion of the land, leaving the rest for hiking trails and other outdoor activities…
