The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking a suspect following an August shooting.
At around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 16, “deputies were flagged down by multiple individuals in reference to an individual that was just shot” in the area of Beaty Road and Kay Street, locating an adult victim who had suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body, a previous release said.
“Deputies immediately began rendering aid until EMS arrived,” that release said. “The victim was transported to a local hospital. The suspect(s) fled prior to deputies’ arrival.”…
