CHAPEL HILL, N.C (WNCN) – The U.S. News & World Report released their rankings of the best colleges and universities, and UNC-Chapel Hill was at the top of the list in terms of value.
According to the rankings, UNC was listed as the number one value among public institutions in the country. The rankings also had UNC as the fourth best school among public universities and as the 26th best school overall in the nation.
“Rising from number five to number four in these rankings clearly shows the impact of our public mission and the hard work of our students, faculty and staff,” said UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellor Lee H. Roberts. “Holding strong as the number one public university for best value affirms our relentless pursuit of an accessible, affordable education.
