Dozens of religious organizations gathered on Bryan Center Plaza to showcase their groups Sept. 8 as part of Duke’s Identity, Culture and Religion week, the third in Duke’s six Welcome Weeks. Their leaders highlighted the role religious groups can play in expanding students’ horizons and building community.
Rabbi Elana Friedman, campus rabbi and Jewish chaplain, expressed her love of connecting with university age students during their “time of curiosity and learning.”
