FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fog from this morning has departed, but conditions do not look much better for the rest of the day as mostly cloudy skies remain overhead. A few scattered showers are possible this afternoon, but the best chance for rain the rest of the week will come overnight into tomorrow morning.
Off and on periods of rain continue from now through Thursday afternoon, but after that we will start to dry out for the end of the week and the weekend. In terms of rain totals, we still are only expecting about half an inch to an inch of rain depending on where you are at. This won’t fully help in regards to drought conditions, but it is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, temperatures are trending above average into next week, and rain chances are trending below…..
