$15K bond for Nashville teen after school shooting threat

Nashville, Tenn. (WZTV) — A tense situation unfolded at the Academy at Old Cockrill on Monday, September 22 when Metro Nashville Police say a 17-year-old threatened violence.

Metro Police were called to The Academy at Old Cockrill on after the teenager reportedly became upset when told he had to attend class in person rather than online.

Witnesses said the teenager made threats against the principal and mentioned having “big guns” and plans to “shoot up the school.”…
