Port St. Lucie man’s carpet caper fails as deputies catch peek-a-boo motorcycle

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Port St. Lucie man’s reckless motorcycle ride ended in an unusual attempt to hide from law enforcement, but his plan quickly fell apart.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) announced on Tuesday that 30-year-old Gregory Landry was reported to be driving dangerously, weaving through traffic with a female passenger in the back.

According to MCSO, when a Traffic Sergeant attempted to pull him over, Landry decided to flee, putting both himself and his passenger at risk of injury…
