Good news for our community! The Sacramento County Department of Water Resources (DWR) is offering grants of up to $2,500 to local schools and community organizations. These grants are for projects that help protect or improve creeks and rivers right here in unincorporated Sacramento County.
For more than 20 years, the DWR has supported a variety of great projects, including:
- Creek and river clean-ups
- Planting eco-friendly landscaping
- Field trips to teach students about our local watershed
- Water quality monitoring projects
- Campaigns to prevent pollution
