MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) – A drug task force in Wisconsin has now officially filed the results of a major drug bust that ended with over 9 ounces of cocaine and $52,000 in cash being seized.
According to a release from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, the major bust happened in January during a Waukesha County Drug Task Force ‘Criminal Highway Interdiction Operation,’ an effort that focuses on drug trafficking, illegal weapons, stolen cars, and other crimes happening on major Wisconsin roadways.
During this specific ‘Criminal Highway Interdiction Operation,’ an officer with the Menomonee Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a speeding driver near Appleton Avenue and Ruby Road.
