Tulsa Health Department dedicates 520 hours to food safety checks at State Fair

TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — With more than a million people expected at this year’s Tulsa State Fair, the Tulsa Health Department (THD) is working behind the scenes to keep food safe and fairgoers healthy.

Over the fair’s 11-day run, THD inspectors will spend more than 520 hours on site, conducting an estimated 600 food safety checks across more than 200 booths.
