Guide killed in fall while taking group on rock climbing route west of Denver

IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A woman was killed over the weekend after falling while guiding a group on a rock-climbing course west of Denver.

The tragedy happened at AVA Rafting and Zipline Saturday afternoon. According to the Idaho Springs Police Department, 26-year-old AVA employee Olivia Copeland was helping customers traverse the popular Mount Blue Sky Via Ferrata course when she fell.
