ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man who took a plea deal in a murder casewill spend the next decade behind bars.
Man accused of killing Uber driver in Albuquerque facing federal charges
Luis Sotelo-Carrasco pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. Police say he shot and killed Victor Lopez-Quiroz near Juan Tabo and Southern in September of 2022.
Police said a witness told them her boyfriend had been killed by her ex-boyfriend, identified as Sotelo-Carrasco.
Judge Joseph Montano sentenced Sotelo-Carrasco to eleven years behind bars…
