INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A nonprofit focused on improving air quality in the Lake Tahoe basin is suing Washoe County, claiming its approval of an amended Tahoe Area Plan did not consider ‘serious threats to public safety and wildfire evacuation.’
Washoe County commissioners voted 3-1 last month to allow taller buildings and increased density in the county’s portion of Lake Tahoe, including Incline Village and Crystal Bay.
