COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A family-owned market and deli in Cohoes will be closing its doors at the end of the year. LePage’s Market, located on North Mohawk Street, has been in business for over five decades.

The market’s co-owners, Anthony and Sandra LePage, first opened the establishment in 1974. After years of slicing deli meats, stocking various beverages and ringing up lottery tickets, the two have decided to retire.
“Spend some time with the family and kids, get to enjoy life a little bit, because we put our life and soul into this place,” Anthony LePage said. “In the last 51 years, I can’t tell you how many hours we’ve put into this place.”

LePage calls the closure “bittersweet.” In a social media post made on Monday, the co-owners expressed their appreciation for their customers.
“It was fun, we met a lot of people, we enjoyed all the people, seeing them in the morning,” LePage told NEWS10. “But all things have to come to an end.”…
