BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who was shot and killed on Vine Drive near the fairgrounds as 40-year-old Wilberto Ruben Hernandez of Bakersfield.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on September 17, 2025, at around 11:10 p.m., deputies were called to the 900 block of Vine Drive for a report of a shooting.
