Cleveland Heights council looks at ways to thin the deer herd, starting with resident survey

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — If residents think there’s a running deer problem in the city, Ohio wildlife officials need to hear about it.

Grazing remains another issue, as do suggested methods for deer management, whether it would entail thinning the herd by lethal means or possibly a sterilization program.
