Downtown Fort Wayne renews 10 years of revitalization funding, expanding downtown district

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — City Council unanimously passed a petition on Tuesday to reauthorize the renewal and expansion of the economic improvement district to continue revitalization efforts downtown.

The economic improvement district (EID) provides finances for services that are essential to downtown, such as public space maintenance, safety ambassador programming, small business support, event planning, and marketing.
