A Pennsylvania man allegedly pinned down a woman on their bed, strangled her and held a pair of pajama pants over her mouth, which prevented her from breathing, during a domestic violence incident.
Jason Lee Hannon, 44, faces a slew of charges, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, strangulation and terroristic threats, the Spring Township Police Department said in a press release. Police responded to a home shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Monday after a passerby heard a woman screaming “help, help, help” and “get off me,” a probable cause arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime said.
A woman was found bleeding from her face and had been held against her will by Hannon, who was armed with a knife, police said. Police were able to get the woman to safety, but Hannon barricaded himself in the home and stabbed himself in the chest, the affidavit stated.
