MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The now-suspended executive director of the Shelby County Office of Re-entry and his wife are due back in court Tuesday morning.
DeAndre Brown and his wife, Vinessa, were charged in a 12-count indictment last month. The two are accused of theft and money laundering, allegedly misappropriating thousands of dollars in funds from their nonprofit: Lifeline to Success.
DeAndre is being held on a $1.1 million bond, while his wife’s bond is set at $400,000.
