MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Shelby County School Board members discussed the potential closure of some schools due to a board policy on Tuesday.
The action is part of the MSCS Facilities Framework action plan, which proposes several closures, consolidations, transfers, or repurposing of the school buildings.
Last year, MSCS began taking a closer look at buildings to determine whether some schools should be closed or consolidated.
