JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — A Riviera Beach man was arrested late Saturday night after a series of alleged violent and erratic behaviors involving people and dogs outside a Jupiter business.
The Jupiter Police Department (JPD) said Seth Michael Anderson, 33, faces domestic battery, cruelty to animals, disorderly intoxication, and resisting arrest without violence. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near Bahama Bucks on Main Street, where police responded to reports of a man assaulting a woman and mistreating a dog.
Upon arrival, officers encountered Anderson in a heated argument with a woman. He refused repeated commands to sit down and show his hands, prompting an officer to draw a Taser while awaiting backup.
