TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man is facing a series of charges for allegedly trying to start a fire in an apartment, then breaking a man’s leg during a fight over that fire.
Christopher Bomia, 41, of Toledo, was arrested Monday night on two counts of aggravated arson, an aggravated assault charge, and tampering with evidence.
Police were called out to the scene of a fire in the 4000 block of Overland Parkway just before 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 22. Charging documents allege Bomia set fire to a mattress in an apartment, then gathered the burned material from the fire he allegedly set and threw it in a dumpster before first responders arrived…
