Man in Wisconsin arrested after allegedly walking up to people on street holding scissors, made ‘throat-cutting motions’

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Wisconsin say a man was arrested after he allegedly walked down the street with a pair of scissors and made motions similar to cutting somebody’s throat.

The Madison Police Department says that it received a call around 8:22 p.m. on September 20 that a man was threatening people while holding a sharp object.

Officers responded to the 600 block of State Street and found the man, subsequently detaining him. Investigations into the incident revealed that he was reportedly walking up to people on the street with a pair of scissors and motioning as if he was going to cut their throats.
