Arkansas Man Accused of Choking, Threatening Woman During Domestic Dispute

JONESBORO, Ark. — A 24-year-old Arkansas man has been arrested after police say he choked and threatened to kill a woman during a domestic disturbance.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Jonesboro police responded Sept. 21 to Toni Ann Drive, where a woman reported that her boyfriend, Ross Lavell Ware, became angry while she was packing to move out of the residence.

The woman told officers Ware chased her around the house, caught up to her, and placed her head under his arm while wrapping his arm around her neck and chest. She said Ware then threw her to the ground, causing abrasions to her legs, and threatened to kill her. The victim eventually escaped and sought help from nearby neighbors…
