Former Cleveland Heights church gets new lease on life with family transitional housing

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Several months in the making, City Council recently passed a resolution of support — along with a $100,000 local contribution — for the Prentiss Place Transitional Living Facility.

Located in the former St. Louis Church on North Taylor Road, the shelter now provides sanctuary for homeless women with children — namely those within the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District.
