Local McDonald’s restaurants launch benefit for Tri-State Food Bank

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say McDonald’s restaurants across the Tri-State area are inviting customers to enjoy food while also giving back to people in need.

According to officials, from September 22 through 26, local McDonald’s owner/operators will donate 10% of all a la carte fry sales to the Tri-State Food Bank. The initiative, called “Side of Support,” is part of a broader effort across the Greater Tennessee Valley Operator Association (GTVOA) Business Unit, with McDonald’s restaurants in multiple states partnering with local Feeding America food banks.

Local McDonald’s owners say that the Tri-State Food Bank provides vital support to families across Evansville and the surrounding region, and the owners say they are proud to help the food bank serve the regional community.
