BALTIMORE, MD—The U.S. Army Special Operations Command has announced the deaths of four service members, including the son of MISSION BBQ co-founder Bill Kraus, who were killed during a flight training exercise last week in Washington state.
Chief Warrant Officer Three Andrew Kraus, 39, of Sanibel, Florida, was one of the four “elite warriors” who perished while conducting routine flight training on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The cause of the crash, which involved an MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, is still under investigation.
The other soldiers identified in the release are:
- Chief Warrant Officer Three Andrew Cully, 35, from Sparta, Missouri
- Sgt. Donavon Scott, 24, from Tacoma, Washington
- Sgt. Jadalyn Good, 23, from Mount Vernon, Washington
