Myrtle Beach approves money transfer to help with Pelicans Stadium repairs

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The city of Myrtle Beach is transferring money to help with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans’ ongoing stadium renovations.

Myrtle Beach City Council approved a motion Tuesday morning to transfer $328,975 to help pay for immediate concrete rehabilitation work at the stadium.

The seat replacements for the whole stadium are required by Major League Baseball, but the work on the concrete holding the seats is not included and falls on the city’s shoulders…
