Leesburg woman arrested after allegedly pointing gun and threatening to pull trigger

A Leesburg woman was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at a driver in her vehicle who believed she would pull the trigger.

A deputy responded to a battery involving 21-year-old Lexis Mae Wilcox at 2936 South Dr., Fruitland Park, around 5:15 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arrival at the nearby Lakeside Storage, located at 2570 U.S. Hwy. 27, the deputy met with a female victim who stated her daughter had been battered, as well. The victim had gone to the residence, and three more people showed up a short time later, the report said.

She was sitting in her vehicle when Wilcox walked past her, lifted her shirt and exposed a glossy black handgun. Wilcox then kicked in the front door to the residence, screaming about someone, the report said…
