Upper Marlboro Woman Faces Multiple Assault Charges After Repeated Hospital Incidents

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — An Upper Marlboro woman is facing multiple assault and trespassing charges across three Maryland counties after a series of alleged incidents at hospitals spanning nearly a month. Andrea Delores Lomax, 42, is accused of assaulting hospital staff and law enforcement officers during multiple encounters in which she allegedly refused to leave medical facilities after being discharged.

According to charging documents filed in Calvert County District Court, the most recent incident occurred on Aug. 31, 2025, when Lomax returned to Calvert Health Medical Center one day after being removed from and banned from the property. Court records state that a nurse contacted deputies when Lomax refused to leave Emergency Room 14 after being discharged, reportedly demanding the return of personal property from the previous day’s arrest.

Police reports allege that when Deputy Campbell and Corporal Kelly attempted to escort Lomax from the facility, she became irate and began yelling. When informed she would be arrested for trespassing if she did not leave voluntarily, Lomax allegedly refused to comply and resisted arrest…
