Boston’s South End Community and Police Strengthen Bonds with Flashlight Walk Initiative

Last night, the Boston Police Department’s District D-4 and the Bureau of Community Engagement lit up the South End streets, not with flashing lights, but with flashlights, in a communal stride toward neighborhood solidarity. The event dubbed a “Flashlight Walk” took place in Villa Victoria Apartments, bringing police officers, local residents, and members from the organization IBA Boston together in a show of unity and dedication to the safety of their community.
