Serial killer fears grips US city after five bodies found in six days

Fears that a serial killer is leaving a bloody swathe across Houston are growing after five bodies were found in six days in the murky waters of the bayous.

Texas police have been forced to address the rumors after the chilling discoveries. The deaths began with the disappearance of 20 year old University of Houston student Jade McKissic on September 11, whose body was found in the Brays Bayou, flowing through the Houston area, on September 15.

No signs of trauma were detected and while foul play is not suspected, the cause of death remains under investigation. On the same day, another body was found in nearby waters, with the cause of death also still under investigation.

Another body was discovered along the White Oak Bayou, north of downtown Houston, on September 16. Two days later, investigators received a report of someone throwing themselves into the water and subsequently pulled another body from the bayou…
