Two arrests made as Eugene protest escalates into vandalism and altercations

EUGENE, Ore. — A demonstration at the Federal Building on East 7th Avenue in Eugene allegedly escalated into a series of incidents involving vandalism and arrests, according to the Eugene Police Department (EPD).

The protest, which began at 2 p.m., saw approximately 60 individuals, many said to be dressed in Black Bloc-style clothing, gathered outside the building.
