He Showed Up In A Range Rover Then Tore Through 70 Cars At BMW, Mercedes Dealers

Crime doesn’t pay, but some folks still get away with it. Those who commit similar crimes over and over reduce their chances of freedom, though, and that’s what one Montana man found out the hard way. Police say he vandalized some 70 (!) luxury vehicles at different dealerships and damaged other cars along the way. Now, he’s behind bars.

According to Salem Police in Oregon, the first incident happened on September 11. Surveillance cameras caught a person authorities believed to be the suspect damaging roughly 35 cars at Mercedes & Acura of Salem on Commercial Street SE. Investigators estimate the person caused roughly $58,000 worth of damage that night alone.
