A 33-year old Phoenix man was indicted in connection with the death of his 5-year-old daughter, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Thursday.
Irvin Eduardo Ramos-Jimenez is charged with one count of child abuse, a class three dangerous felony, and a domestic violence offense. Ramos-Jimenez also faces a felony charge for misconduct involving weapons, a class four felony for unlawfully possessing a firearm.
Phoenix Police responded to a report in June of a critically injured child near Seventh Avenue and Broadway Boulevard, according to an MCAO press release.
