Schenectady man charged with felonies in drive-by shooting

SCHENECTADY — A 21-year-old city man faces attempted assault and other felonies for firing a weapon from a car at another man on a city street after an altercation between them, according to the police.

Jasiah Jeanty is also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment in connection with the incident that happened shortly before 4:15 p.m. on Monday.

Police who responded to the scene on Main Avenue and Holland Road said the victim told them that he had been fired upon by a person in a car with whom he’d had a disagreement only a few minutes before the shots rang out…
