TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — With Homecoming Week underway, the Trussville Police Department is reminding students and families about the city’s curfew laws to help ensure celebrations remain safe.
Police emphasized that while the week is meant to bring the community together, minors must follow established curfew hours. For those under 16, the curfew is 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. For 16- and 17-year-olds, curfew is 10 p.m. on school nights and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, lasting until 6 a.m.

Officers noted that parents and guardians who knowingly allow minors to violate curfew may face citations and fines. Exceptions include being accompanied by a parent or guardian, traveling to or from work, attending school or church functions, or emergencies…
