CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Loaves and Fishes is getting rid of one of its freezers. After 13 years of storing food for the community, it’s time for a change.
“We decided to replace it with a freezer that will be flush to the concrete floor and then two feet higher, but in the same general space. It’ll give us more storage, more efficient, and it will be on an insulated concrete floor,” said Jane Colony Mills, Executive Director of Loaves and Fishes.
The new freezer will provide changes that will improve the space for food. Along with the food, the freezer will allow for easier access with heavy machinery…
