LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — A 14-year-old boy was accused of stealing two vehicles and leaving them in a field after his fingerprints were recovered from both, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
On Sept. 14, around 8:15 a.m., a Lakeland resident contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to report the theft of her 2020 Kia Forte. Two hours later, another Lakeland resident contacted PCSO to report the theft of his Toyota Tacoma.

According to PCSO, the owner of the Toyota was able to locate his stolen truck by using a mobile app on his phone. The app showed that his truck was parked in a field off of Parker Street.
Deputies responded to the location and found both vehicles parked where they could not be seen from the road…
