Do you remember KFC locations with buffets? You might be surprised by the amount that remains in the company’s home state of Kentucky.
When I was a kid growing up in the 90s, my parents would always want to go out to eat at buffets. Back then, they weren’t the restaurants that I typically wanted to go to, but the older I got, the more I enjoyed a nice buffet. I know that buffets sometimes get a bad rep from people, but I love them. Let’s be honest, when you go to a restaurant, sometimes one plate just isn’t enough. Buffets allow you to eat as much as you want. Something about “all-you-can-eat” just makes me happy, because it reminds me of my childhood.
Do You Remember KFC Buffets?
Back in the day, we would go out to eat at various buffets like Golden Corral, Siroloin Stockade, Ryan’s, Old Country Buffet, and Ponderosa Steakhouse. Sadly, many of these well-known buffets have either gone out of business completely or have greatly reduced the number of locations over the years. One buffet that we used to frequent was actually the KFC buffet. Do you remember those? We are talking about juicy Kentucky Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, green beans, and other fixings, which were served buffet style.
