Mobile man arrested after multiple utility trailer thefts: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile man has been arrested in connection with several thefts, according to police.

According to a Mobile Police Department news release, officers investigating multiple theft of property incidents found the man they suspected on Tuesday evening at about 7 p.m.

Several utility trailers had been taken, including an 8-foot by 20-foot enclosed utility trailer. All the trailers had been taken from storage areas without the owner’s permission, the release said.

After talking to the suspect, 30-year-old Titus Crook, officers attempted to walk him to their patrol car when he began resisting.

Officers were able to safely get Crook into the car without further incident and he was taken to Metro Jail, where he is awaiting a bond hearing…
