SAN DIEGO — San Diego Pride has named Madonna Cacciatore as Interim Executive Director, effective September 23, as the organization launches a national search for its next permanent leader.
Cacciatore brings more than two decades of experience serving the LGBTQIA+ community. She previously served as Executive Director of CSW | LA Pride in West Hollywood, where she expanded the festival’s footprint, strengthened community engagement, and led record-breaking fundraising. Her work has also included leadership roles at the Los Angeles LGBT Center and InterPride, where she collaborated with Pride organizers worldwide.
A lifelong activist, Cacciatore’s advocacy began after losing her brother to the AIDS epidemic in 1991. She has volunteered with Freedom to Marry, The Names Project Quilt, and completed seven AIDS/LifeCycle rides.
