Suspect found competent to be tried for retired detective’s hit-and-run death

OCONTO, Wis. (WBAY) – The suspect in the hit-and-run that killed a retired Green Bay police detective was ruled competent to stand trial.

Online records show results of Obilio Sargento Roblero were shared during a competency hearing in Oconto County court on Tuesday.

Tests deemed Sargento incompetent back in March. He was required to take the exam every 3 months until it was determined he was competent or until his statutory time limit passed…
